I'm updating [[WoL_Personalities]] with the clarifications... but I can't find ANYTHING that explains what a duration spell is and what an instant spell is. Well, aside from [[Magic_Formulas]] but that doesn't actually SAY what it is...
 
 
But none-the-less... it's a trail and it's rather hard to... fix.
 
 
Like Nightmares and Amnesia. These are NOT duration spells, but they have a duration component.
 
And Instant Spells, how do you define these other than not having a duration?
 
Thats not to mention to confusing issue of Lasting Spells...
 
 
And hell, Meteor Showers can EASILY be confused as being BOTH Instant AND Duration (even though it SHOULD be pure duration).

Spell durations!

How does spell duration really work?

Elf/Mystic 17.5% guilds! Does this mean i have twice as efficient guilds, so that would qualify me for >20% guilds and possibly max duration! NW difference. 7% larger opponent! >5 Raw WPA >80% sci! Mod WPA >11

We are in Hostile!

Cast duration 6 hours - this means?

7% difference and Hostile would equal to casting with 0 guilds?

It also gives less duration than 50% scaling which is 9-15 hours.

What is the leading modifier here, but there is something wrong here.

I have been assuming 24 hours duration, which is wrong ofcourse. Guide says 8 here http://wiki.utopia-game.com/index.php/Magic_Formulas but htat is to low. What is the max duration for MS ?
