Raw Wizards per Acre (raw WPA) = Total number of Wizards / Total Acres 

Modified WPA (mod WPA) = Raw WPA * Magic Science

The success rate you enjoy on offensive spells (targetted at an opponent) depends on the ratio of your WPA to his WPA.

The duration of your spells are dependent however on the percentage of Guilds which you run.
