MemoServ

MemoServ (MS) allows IRC users to send messages to other IRC users that may be offline, as well as to channels. Both the target and the user must be registered.
Memos sent to channels may only be read by users with an access level of 100 (SOPs).
To use a MemoServ command, type /msg MemoServ command.

MemoServ Commands
DEL
- Syntax /ms DEL <#channel> {num/list/all}
Deletes a specified memo. NB: Deleted memos cannot be retrieved.
IGNORE
- Syntax /ms IGNORE <add/del/list> <nick/mask>
Users whose nickname or user@host mask match an entry on this list are not allowed to send you memos.
INFO
- Syntax /ms INFO <#channel>
Summarizes the number of memos you have including Unread Memos.
LIST
- Syntax /ms LIST <#channel> <num/list/new>
Lists the memos you have. Unread memos are denoted with an asterisk(*) next to them.
READ
- Syntax /ms READ <#chan> <num/list/last/new>
Reads the memo specified.
SEND
- Syntax /ms SEND <nick/#chan> <msg>
Sends the named nickname or channel a memo containing memo-text. When sending to a nickname, the recipient will receive a notice that he/she has a new memo. The target nickname/channel must be registered.
SET
- Syntax /ms SET <option> <type>

- NOTIFY
SET NOTIFY {ON | LOGON | NEW | OFF} Changes when you will be notified about new memos. Note that if your nickname has the "secure" setting on, you will only be notified of new memos (for LOGON or ON) after you identify to NickServ.
- LIMIT
SET LIMIT [nickname | channel] limit Sets the maximum number of memos you (or the given channel) are allowed to have. If you set this to 0, no one will be able to send any memos to you. However, you cannot set this any higher than 20.
