IRC

IRC is an acronym for Internet Relay Chat. IRC was developed by Jarkko "WiZ" Oikarinen at the University of Oulu, in Finland. IRC is the oldest chat protocol in wide use today. The first IRC network, IRCNet, spawned Eris Free Net (EfNet), which led to thousands of other networks. IRC is an effective way of communicating with people anywhere on the globe.

IRC enables players to be more organized. Giving kingdoms the ability to employ bots to store all attacks and spells/thief operations in war. Using IRC gives leaders/monarchs the ability to plan and coordinate strategies faster than conventional ways. The way that IRC operates enable group conversations and kingdom wide announcements.

Using IRC will also allow you to have real-time chats with various other members of the community (not only in your own kingdom). Players that use IRC generally find learning about the game improves exponentially, by discussing with others and learning off (or improving on) other people's playstyles. This is especially true on UtoNet.

Warning Don't accept unsolicited files from people you do not know. Also ensure you read up on Net Safety.
